Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk — Surf Clinic Lagos

Surfing and other ocean activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to: drowning, collision with other surfers or equipment, marine life encounters, sunburn, and injury from waves, currents, rocks, or the ocean floor.

By booking a lesson, rental, or other activity with Surf Clinic Lagos, I confirm that:

1. I am participating voluntarily and am aware of the physical demands and risks of ocean sports.

2. I am in adequate health and have no medical condition that would make participation unsafe (or I have disclosed any such condition to Surf Clinic Lagos in advance).

3. I will follow the reasonable safety instructions given by Surf Clinic Lagos instructors at all times.

4. I understand that Surf Clinic Lagos, its instructors, and staff cannot guarantee my safety and are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, except where caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct, to the extent permitted by Portuguese law.

5. I am responsible for my own personal belongings during the activity.

6. If I am booking on behalf of a minor, I confirm I am their parent or legal guardian, I have read this waiver on their behalf, and I accept it on their behalf.
